Early Recordings with Dad

Howard’s dad said he noticed his interest in radio at an early age and he would discuss radio with his son. Howard said his dad used to take him to work with him once in awhile and let him watch when he would do recordings, the studio used to record Tennessee Tuxedo. His dad would also bring the family including cousins into the studio once a year and record them, Howard said he wasn’t a big fan of this tradition because his mom and dad would get upset and pressure him to sing and perform.
