“Comedian Artie Lange resigned during the April 10th, 2008, broadcast of The Howard Stern Show.
While off the air, Lange was having an argument with his assistant, “Teddy Microphone,” regarding a financial disagreement. When Howard Stern asked that Teddy discuss the matter on the air, the argument escalated.
The situation became physical, and the two had to be restrained. After Stern scolded Lange, he offered his resignation.”
